About the Role
As the Sales Recruiter at Alexa Translations, you are responsible for sourcing and attracting top talent, managing the recruitment process, building relationships with hiring managers, ensuring compliance with recruitment laws and regulations, analyzing recruitment metrics, and providing a positive candidate experience. Also, you will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding / offboarding processes for new hires along with other HR responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and attracting candidates: the recruitment specialist must create and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent. This may involve posting job openings on job boards, social media, and professional networks. 
  • Screening and evaluating candidates: Once candidates apply, the recruitment specialist will review their applications, conduct video interviews, and administer skills assessments to identify the most qualified candidates.
  • Managing the recruitment process: The recruitment specialist will manage the entire recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and working with hiring managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers: The recruitment specialist must build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, provide guidance on recruitment best practices, and collaborate on the recruitment process.
  • Ensuring compliance with recruitment laws and regulations: The recruitment specialist must stay up-to-date on relevant recruitment laws and regulations in the region to ensure compliance with the company's recruitment practices.
  • Develop Salaries Benchmarking for different positions  to analyze where we should focus our recruitment strategy for a cost-effective hiring process
  • Complete and Analyze recruitment metrics: The recruitment specialist must complete the required metrics reports and analyze trends to improve the recruitment process. 
  • Providing a positive candidate experience: The recruitment specialist must ensure that candidates have a positive experience during the recruitment process, regardless of whether they are ultimately hired.
  • Thoroughly understand, live by, and advocate the company’s culture and values.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset 
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience recruiting Sales roles
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organization are paramount, and I have a continuous desire to learn and improve
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices 
  • The ability to thrive in the fast-paced and ever-changing environment of a startup is a must
