About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Software Integration Developer to join our team at Alexa Translations. The Software Integration Developer will play a key role in integrating our dynamic systems together and ensuring their security, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Reporting to the IT Manager, the Software Integration Developer will take the lead on a variety of projects to streamline our different products and systems, and make sure they work together in harmony from the database to the GUI.

Responsibilities:
● Software System Mapping:

• Create comprehensive data flows of different systems throughout the organization, including visualizations and API documentation.
• Own the connection points between systems, establish SLAs, understand and document data transformations occurring within each application.

● Software System Integrations:

• Stitch various in-house and third party applications together, acting as the SME on how different systems interact.
• Create monitors, measure performance and help guide development teams on how to improve their systems.
• Build connectors where needed, to bridge the gap between systems which would not easily interact otherwise, through Serverless scripts, Database triggers, stored procedures.

● Data Management:

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust security controls to protect the company's sensitive data in transit between systems.
• Map, catalogue and validate all events and data types being sent throughout our systems.

● IT & Security Integrations:

• Work with the IT & Security team to ensure all security events and user actions are being logged and appropriately monitored.
• Monitor & Audit access levels for all systems under your purview.

● System Scaling and SLA Management

• Own the scaling requirements for the systems under your control, and ensure those responsible for maintaining SLAs are notified of any breaches.

● Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the technical representative of multiple product lines to ensure that they are being represented in any related technology discussions or decisions.

Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
● At least 5 years of experience in a Software Development, DevOps, or SRE role, with a heavy focus on SaaS system development.
● At least 3 years experience working in the Language Service Provider domain as a Developer, working with LSP tools such as Plunet, Memoq, Phrase, Trados, etc.
● At least 3 years experience working with scripting languages (Python, Javascript, Bash, etc.)
● At least 2 years working with ETL pipelines.
● Experience working with international remote teams.
● AWS, Comptia, and Microsoft technical certifications would be an asset.
● Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of technologies and teams at the same time.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
